A hungry Bible scholar, daughter, sister, wife, mother and friend, Sowmya has been writing fiction for a few years. She has enthralled her audience with her books, inspired young and old Christian believers alike with Biblical inspiration, and wet her feet in Christian poetry a bit.
Sowmya’s ability to draw people into her stories has made her very relatable. The Holy Spirit inspired writing has enabled many including her to practice and implement Biblical principles in daily living. Her poems are her songs of worship to God Almighty and need a bit of fine tuning.
Before moving to the United States, she lived in Moscow, Russia, pursuing her undergraduate studies. She is fluent in Russian but lately, seems to have lost proficiency. Languages are an attraction to her. Besides speaking fluently in Telugu (mother-tongue), Hindi and English, she tried her hand in Japanese and currently trying to master Latin. She holds a Masters degree in Geography.
Her husband, Enon and Sowmya have been married for 20 years. Together they have grown in love for God and for each other. Though they were native to India, they have fully embraced the United States of America and proudly call Arizona as their home. Their teenage son, Elijah, who has been home schooled, is a delight. An enthusiastic musician in the making, he loves to play guitar and piano. He is also training to be a competitive swimmer. He too loves languages and has surpassed his mother in Latin. They are all active servants in their local church.
Their only desire as a family is to serve God with willing hearts, hands and feet, where ever God places them.
